WHY SO MANY QUESTIONS?

There has never been a more exciting time for LDS fine art. As the Church expands —  physically and digitally — there is a dramatic increase in the creation and use of fine art to communicate doctrine, re-tell history, and create beautiful spaces.

But, there are very few discussions about fine art or fine artists in LDS culture.

Where religious opinions, artistic taste, and money combine, there is a lot of ego. I wanted to create a place with the freedom to express opinions and share ideas that have been building up for sometime with no outlet.

WHO AM I?

Over the past 20 years, I have worked with artists, collectors, museums, and various representatives of the LDS Church to purchase, display, and research art by LDS artists — past and present. I have advanced degrees in art history. I choose to be anonymous.
